Sonia Hussain was born in 1991 and grew up in the industrial town of Eskilstuna, Sweden. She holds a Masters of Law, but always nurtured a dream to write fiction. Sonia currently resides in Berlin after 6 years in London, and works as a global content strategist for podcasts at Spotify. With roots in both Bangladesh and Poland, her writing explores the third kid culture.

Her short story THE BIRD GAME was published in the Swedish magazine Faktum last spring. Her debut novel, BORDE VARA TACKSAM, will be published in January 2024.
